Shirin Gerami becomes first female triathlete to compete for Iran (The Guardian) 

The 24-year-old triathlete competed in the sport’s world championship in London wearing a dress that covered her body from head to toe. 

“I very much hope it will inspire other women to participate in triathlons,” Gerami says.
