Here’s a girl power moment from Brittney Griner, WNBA superstar of the Phoenix Mercury. At the WNBA’s rookie orientation, Griner says she declined to participate in a session about makeup application and how to dress. "I don’t need that shit,” she told Elle.
Guess missing the lecture didn’t hurt: in her first pro game Griner dunked twice, setting a new league record.
