Adolescent girls are frequently the most vulnerable in times of need, but they are practically “invisible” to aid organizations who ignore their needs, even when they are in organized refugee camps. 

“Their specific needs are rarely taken into consideration; they are neither counted nor consulted, and because of this they and their rights are ignored,” says Plan UK’s Chief Executive Tanya Barron.
